Who We Are

Who Is Elevation
Event Photography?

Elevation is a corporate event photographer Los Angeles businesses book for conferences, galas, and launches, serving Southern California and traveling nationally. Sixteen years in operation with a team of seven photographers and five videographers. We do not shoot weddings or consumer work.

Elevation Event Photography was built on a single belief, because the alternative was accepting less: your corporate events deserve imagery as polished as the brand behind them. Sixteen years in operation with a team of seven photographers and five videographers, we bring a refined eye, calm presence, and technical precision to every engagement, from intimate executive retreats and leadership summits to large-scale national conferences.

Meanwhile we do not shoot weddings, portraits, or consumer work. Corporate coverage is the entire practice, which is why the workflow is built around what corporate clients actually need: discretion on the floor, brand-consistent editing, and delivery fast enough to be useful.

Additionally the studio is led by founder Travis Borkenhagen, a United States Marine Corps veteran with a background in graphic design, lighting, and visual systems, and Hailli Borkenhagen, Chief Operating Officer and lead photographer, who oversees staffing, timelines, and client communication across every engagement.

Consequently we work alongside your event staff, arriving early, moving quietly, and anticipating the moments that matter most, without direction and without disruption. Furthermore our clients include Fortune 500 companies, technology firms, financial brands, national associations, and luxury product companies across Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. More on the studio in our full about page.

Inside the Kit

What Is Included in the Media Kit?

Specifically the media kit covers the studio and its leadership, the full service range, published hourly rates, delivery timelines, venue experience across Los Angeles and Orange County, and portfolio work from recent corporate events.

The corporate event photographer Los Angeles media kit is the complete picture in one document, built to be forwarded to a stakeholder, attached to a vendor comparison, or read start to finish before a call.

Coverage

What Does a Corporate Event Photographer Los Angeles Team Photograph?

We cover conferences and summits, awards galas and red carpet arrivals, trade shows and expos, product launches, brand activations, and on-site executive headshot studios. Photography and videography book together as one coordinated crew, with the corporate constraints covered on corporate event videography Los Angeles.

A corporate event photographer Los Angeles clients hire scopes each format separately, because shot priorities, crew requirements, and delivery timelines all differ. Each of these is scoped as its own coverage plan. A wider view of our formats is on the corporate events page.

Corporate Event Photographer Los Angeles: Conferences & Summits

Keynotes, breakout sessions, panels, and networking receptions across multi-day programs. Meanwhile the room stays low-lit throughout. Low-light capable throughout, with no flash fired at the stage.

Awards Galas & Red Carpet

An award ceremony, a benefit gala, or red carpet arrivals. Therefore the receiving line sets the pace. Consequently consistent lighting and a step-and-repeat workflow keep a receiving line moving on schedule.

Trade Shows & Expos

A trade show booth is a major line item. Therefore coverage has to prove it. Coverage documents build quality, staff engagement, and floor traffic, the evidence stakeholders need for next year's spend.

Product Launches

Product-forward detail work is paired with room energy and press coverage, structured for same-week marketing and PR distribution.

Brand Activations

Experiential coverage prioritizes authentic consumer reaction over staged setups. Therefore the frames read as real.

Corporate Headshots On-Site

A mobile studio deploys at your venue for headshot sessions. Consequently executives and teams move through quickly for LinkedIn, company websites, and press bios. On-site headshot coverage

Annual & Shareholder Meetings

Reporting events where the imagery lands in the annual report, the investor deck, and the proxy materials. Consequently the shot plan is built backward from those destinations. Annual meeting photography

Why a Crew, Not a Freelancer

What a Studio Delivers That One Camera Cannot

Comparing bids is difficult when every proposal reads the same. Here is exactly how we staff, protect, and deliver a corporate program, in writing, so you can hold every other quote to the same standard.

01

Two Places at Once, on Purpose

Multi-day programs run concurrent sessions, and a single photographer has to choose which one to miss. Therefore we staff to the schedule instead. Breakouts, the expo floor, and the main stage are covered simultaneously, with the founder or COO leading on site at every event.

02

Coverage on the Floor, Coordination Behind It

Shooters are not also managing logistics. Meanwhile producers and editors work the run-of-show, the card hand-offs, and the delivery pipeline in the background, so the people holding cameras solve one problem only: the frame in front of them.

03

Sixteen Years at the Front, Never a Fill-In Behind It

Travis Borkenhagen leads with sixteen years in event photography, alongside Hailli Borkenhagen, COO and an equally seasoned lead shooter. Furthermore every photographer carries a minimum of five years professional experience and three years with this studio, and our senior photographers are at nine years. Nobody on your event was picked up on a whim.

04

Redundancy Is the Point

Equipment fails and people get sick, rarely, but it happens to everyone eventually. When a freelancer's day goes wrong, your event goes uncovered. Consequently when ours does, the rest of the team absorbs it the same hour and you never see the gap.

05

Managed Start to Finish

Every program is actively managed throughout the day rather than left to the shooter to improvise. Therefore that is time your photographer and videographer spend on the gallery instead of on scheduling, and it is the difference you see in what comes back.

06

Insta Photo, Live as It Happens

Add Insta Photo and images reach your team in real time while the event is still running, so social and press work from the floor rather than from a recap. Meanwhile coordinated shooters, editors, and delivery running in sync is what makes it possible, and it is not something a single operator can offer.

07

Highlights Within 24 Hours

Edited highlights arrive within 24 hours of the event. Additionally the full color-matched gallery follows within one week, delivered as high-resolution files with full usage rights and no per-image licensing.

08

Video Built on More Than the Moment

Capturing the moment is the easy half. However clean audio off the board, stabilized movement, correct exposure under shifting stage light, and coverage that actually cuts together are what separate a usable highlight film from footage nobody edits.

09

Licensed Drone Coverage

Trained, licensed, and ready when your program calls for aerials. Consequently venue exteriors, campus scale, and outdoor activations are shot legally and integrated into the same delivery as everything else.

10

You Know the Crew Before They Arrive

We send headshots and names in advance, so your day-of contact recognizes every person on site. Furthermore you will know Travis and Hailli well before the event, from the first conversation through delivery and backup.

11

Fully Insured, COI on Request

General liability at $1M and above, with a certificate of insurance naming your venue as additional insured. Therefore it is sent wherever it needs to go, on whatever timeline your venue requires.

12

Published Rates, No Discovery Call

Rates are posted because comparing bids should not require three calls to find out what anything costs. Meanwhile the full breakdown sits in the pricing guide.

We know how much work goes into planning these events. Our job is to make sure it was all worth it, documented in stunning quality.

How We Work

How Does Booking a Corporate Event Photographer in Los Angeles Work?

Four stages: pre-event coordination on the run-of-show, AV and production alignment on stage lighting, on-site coverage, then delivery. Edited highlights arrive within 24 hours and the complete gallery within one week.

Coverage quality is mostly decided before anyone picks up a camera. Therefore this is the sequence every engagement runs through.

01 Pre-Event Coordination

Shot list review, run-of-show alignment, and a venue walkthrough when the production warrants it. Consequently nothing is discovered on the day. We ask for the actual run-of-show, not a summary, because a five-minute award presentation buried on page four is exactly what gets missed otherwise.

02 AV & Production Alignment

Stage lighting levels, LED wall brightness, camera positions, and the flash policy are agreed before doors open. Therefore the constraint is known rather than discovered. Most conferences prohibit flash during general sessions, and that constraint decides who can actually do the job.

03 On-Site Coverage

Meanwhile the team moves through the room without interrupting speakers, attendees, or program flow. A photographer who needs directing during a live keynote is a cost, not a resource.

04 Delivery

Edited highlights arrive within 24 hours, so your communications team publishes while the event is still current. Complete gallery within one week, organized, color-consistent, and cleared for immediate use.

Venue Experience

Which Venues Does Your Corporate Event Photographer Los Angeles Crew Work?

We hold repeat coverage history at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, Conrad Los Angeles, Fairmont Breakers Long Beach, Pelican Hill Resort, Four Seasons Beverly Hills, and JW Marriott L.A. LIVE, among others across Los Angeles and Orange County.

For a corporate event photographer Los Angeles programs rely on, venue familiarity removes variables. At these properties the load-in, house lighting, restricted sightlines, and AV contacts are known quantities before we arrive.

Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel

Multi-day conferences and executive retreats in Dana Point.

Conrad Los Angeles

Downtown summits, brand events, and awards programs. Meanwhile the terrace faces Disney Hall.

Fairmont Breakers Long Beach

Coastal conferences and formal corporate galas. Additionally the ocean frontage adds exterior options.

Pelican Hill Resort

Newport Coast leadership summits and incentive programs. Therefore golden hour drives the schedule.

Four Seasons Beverly Hills

Executive gatherings, press events, and brand activations. Consequently discretion matters more than scale.

JW Marriott L.A. LIVE

Downtown LA's principal large-format conference hotel. Therefore crew size follows the session grid.

Meanwhile coverage extends across Downtown Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Studio City, Pasadena, Long Beach, Irvine, Anaheim, and San Diego, with national travel for multi-day productions. See recent work in the corporate event photography portfolio, and deliverable formats for film coverage on event videography services.

Included

What Do You Receive, and Who Owns the Images?

You receive full commercial usage rights by default across marketing, press, web, social, paid media, and internal communications, with no per-image licensing and no renewal fees. Exclusive buyouts can be structured on request.

Full Commercial Rights

Marketing, press, web, social, paid media, and internal communications are included by default. No per-image licensing and no renewal fees. Exclusive buyouts available on request.

Brand-Aligned Editing

Furthermore consistent color, tone, and style run across the entire gallery, so imagery drops into an existing brand system without reworking.

NDA & Secure Delivery

Additionally encrypted storage and restricted-access galleries cover unannounced products, closed leadership sessions, and regulated industries.

Equipment Redundancy

Dual memory card recording, backup bodies, and duplicate lenses run across the working focal range. Consequently a failure costs no frames. Files verified on two drives before cards are cleared.

Personnel Contingency

A twelve-person roster means an ill photographer on event morning is a reassignment, not a cancellation.

Scalable Crews

Therefore concurrent breakout rooms get concurrent shooters, briefed as one unit from a shared run-of-show.

The Filter

Why Choose an LA Event Photographer Who Only Shoots Corporate?

Because most of the market does not. An LA event photographer listing corporate work alongside weddings is solving two unrelated problems on the same calendar.

Los Angeles has more photographers per square mile than anywhere in the country. However very few work corporate exclusively. Consequently the useful question is not who is available. It is who does this and nothing else.

A Corporate Event Photographer Los Angeles Roster

Every Los Angeles event photographer on this team carries a minimum of three years with the studio, and the senior photographer is at nine. Meanwhile nobody is subcontracted for the week. Therefore the person who arrives is the person whose work you reviewed.

Built for the Conditions

A dim ballroom, a backlit keynote stage, and a bright atrium inside the same hour. Consequently the range matters more than the body. Meanwhile an award ceremony under warm low light needs AV coordination before the program, not during it.

Headshot Capability On Site

Additionally headshot sessions run alongside the program from a mobile backdrop, so a headshot photographer is already in the building rather than booked as a separate vendor on a separate day.

Live Delivery With Insta Photo

Insta Photo displays images on screen in real time as they are shot, because a recap posted later misses the room. Consequently a launch or an awards evening builds energy in the room instead of waiting for the recap.

What types of corporate events do you cover?

Conferences and summits, awards galas and red carpet arrivals, trade shows and expos, product launches, brand activations, leadership retreats, and on-site executive headshot studios. Photography and videography can be booked together as one coordinated crew.

Which Los Angeles venues have you worked?

We hold working relationships and repeat coverage history at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, Conrad Los Angeles, Fairmont Breakers Long Beach, Pelican Hill Resort, Four Seasons Beverly Hills, and JW Marriott L.A. LIVE, among others across the Los Angeles and Orange County markets.

Do we own the images from our event?

Yes. Full commercial usage rights are included by default across marketing, press, web, social, paid media, and internal communications, with no per-image licensing and no renewal fees. Exclusive buyouts can be structured on request.

How far in advance should we book?

Four to six weeks is comfortable for single-day coverage and allows time to walk the venue and build a shot plan. Multi-day conferences and fourth-quarter dates should be secured earlier. Short-notice requests are accommodated when the calendar allows.

I need corporate photographers in Los Angeles. Where do I start?

Send the date, the venue, and the run-of-show. We come back with a crew recommendation sized to your concurrent sessions and an itemized quote, so the first exchange settles scope rather than opening a discovery call.

Can you run headshot sessions at the same event?

Yes. A mobile backdrop deploys at $299 per day and a headshot photographer works it between sessions, moving eight to fifteen people an hour. Therefore leadership portraits get done while everyone is already assembled and dressed.
