Conference Videography Los Angeles
Mainstage, breakouts, and expo floor covered by one crew, cut for the channels your team actually publishes to.
How Coverage Gets Scoped
Conference video is a staffing question before it is a creative one. Every session running at the same time earns its own camera, which is how the footage you want is already in hand when editing starts.
Elevation runs five videographers across Los Angeles and Orange County, corporate only. Videography is $345 per hour with editing, licensing, and delivery inside the rate. Scoping starts from your agenda, and the published rate card means the number you see first is the number you pay.

Rate covers the operator, the camera package, editing, colour, and full commercial rights. A single-track day runs two operators. A three-track morning runs four. Crew is scoped against the session grid at the site visit and holds through the day.

What Gets Covered
Mainstage and Keynote Capture
Locked wide, operated close, and a clean feed off the AV board so the audio matches the room rather than a shotgun mic forty feet back. Slides come from the switcher where the venue allows it, which keeps every line of text crisp and readable in the final cut.
Breakouts and Expo Floor
Concurrent rooms each carry an operator, and the expo floor gets a roaming pass timed to peak traffic so sponsors appear in frame with people at the booth. This is the footage that fills next year's sizzle reel.

Los Angeles Venues
The Room Decides the Rig
A ballroom at the JW Marriott at L.A. LIVE, a general session at the Convention Center, and a rooftop reception at the Conrad are three distinct lighting environments on the same badge. Ceiling height sets the camera positions, the LED wall sets the shutter, and the load-in dock sets the call time. We walk each room before the date and bring the package that room needs, which is covered further in the Los Angeles venue guide.

What You Receive
Deliverables Built for Reuse
Full-length session cuts with board audio, a highlight reel for the recap email, vertical pulls for social, and isolated camera files if your team edits internally. Titles and lower-thirds follow your brand guide rather than a template.
Photography on the same event runs from one roster, briefed off one run-of-show. See conference photography for the stills side.

How a Conference Gets Scoped
Agenda First
Send the session grid and the run-of-show. Concurrent tracks set operator count, and the number stops moving once the agenda locks.
Site Visit
Dock access, elevator windows, ceiling height, LED specs, and where the AV board sits. Everything that changes the rig gets settled before the date.
Rolling Delivery
A 24-hour cut so day one publishes before day two starts, then full session edits in five to seven business days.
Corporate Only
No Weddings, No Consumer Work
A crew that spends most weekends at receptions reads a keynote room differently from one that lives in them. Every date this studio books is a conference, a summit, a launch, or an internal meeting, which is why the questions we ask about your agenda land before the first camera comes out of the case.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How many cameras does a Los Angeles conference need?
One locked wide on the mainstage, one operated for the speaker, and a roaming camera for the room. Breakouts running at the same time each need their own operator, so the session grid sets the crew count rather than the guest list.
Do you record breakout sessions as well as the keynote?
Yes. Breakouts are where most of the reusable footage lives, and they run concurrently, so each tracked room needs its own videographer. We scope from your agenda rather than a package.
How do you handle downtown venue load-in windows?
We confirm dock access, elevator windows, and steward requirements at the site visit. Crew arrives inside the assigned window with cases sized for the freight elevator, which keeps a JW Marriott or Convention Center load-in on schedule and the morning intact.
What do we get back from a keynote session?
A full-length session cut with clean board audio, a short pull for social, and the isolated camera files if your team edits internally. Every deliverable carries full commercial rights.
How quickly can we post the first clip?
A 24-hour highlight cut for same-week promotion, with the first full edit in five to seven business days. Multi-day conferences deliver on a rolling basis so day one is publishable before day two begins.
